My LO for week #150 over at CCG.

This week I used Scrapblog to make a digi LO.

The combo for week #150. I really love this weeks

combo and the pic is really inspiring. I am totally

curtain that I will use it again. I might just use the

pic below on one. Think this combo would be perfect.

...about my LO for week #150 over at CCG and about how I this evening had some work to do. I was in bed and while I worked on some new book illustrations my darling boy was sleeping on a pillow in my lap, I eat some snacks (or to be honest a looooot of snacks anyhooooo) and watched TV. Let me tell you my friends on days like this, life sure is good GOOD!!!

And yes I used only one hand :)

...about my LO for week #149 over at CCG and about how pretty this weeks combo is. It's a super short post (again!!!) but oooooh my word, this inspiration board is just sooooooo pretty!! Love the combo and love, love, LOVE the picture of the cupcakes!!!

All my embellishments and the "pig card" are from this fab place. I just adore everything the sell!!! It is a must visit for every scrapbooker and papercrafter!!!

I am back this will be a short one, but I am back!

It has been a loooong time since my last post. A lot has happened but most inportanly our darling son was born on tuesday the 27th, happy happy joy joy!!!

He is just perfect :*

This is my first project for CCG in a long time, I was über pregnant and

CCG was not really working as it used to :(

But now we are back and let me tell you it

is better than ever!!! And it is super pretty as well,

...about my LO for week #140 over at CCG “My first maternity top”. Seriously time really flies, can't believe that it is CCG #140 already. My first # was#64! Wow I have made a lot of combos :) Anyhoooo I am as I said before pregnant and growing in rapid speed.....and this is my very first maternity top, I got it from my lillsiss (I know lillsis) Barbie. THANK YOU Barbie!!!

In this pick you can really see how incredibly tired I am. But since I am soooo happy and feels so blessed I pretend that I look fab and über gorgeous!!!

...about my LO for week#121 over at CCG.
I made another digi. I am not sure about this one, it is not really good. I have been helping Bob aka mr Moustache all weekend. And I didn’t bring my PC so I had to use his Mac and freebies that I found on the internet. I made the LO on Scrapblog.com and then I played around with it in Photoshop Elements.
The only thing I really like on this LO is the theme of the LO and the pictures :) The pictures where taken a few days ago, I, my lillsiss Barbie, Ed and Alli went to a place near the city where there is like a big forest and nature walk trails and a farm, so we could take a look at some farm animals and stuff. They were really cute and all but holy moly they really stink!!! Me and Barbie tried to keep a strait face and not breakdown laughing while the kids where running around frantically screaming poop, pooop, poooop, smells like poop here, POOOP!!!
The combo of this week is really fantastic so I most definitely will use it again, and I will make that one a paper LO!

...about how I would really love 2 blog right now but I have 2 go 2 sleep. But what I have 2 say before I go is mum, Barbie and kidos have a fab holiday on the continent of Africa. Take lots of pics on the safari. And don’t worry I will be okay and I will look after the young one that is “home alone”. Or should I say that she will tae care of me since Bob aka MR moustache is going to Germany 2 work for a few days (at the same time as you all are leaving me all alone with just the young one). Anyhooo I am so happy the young one is staying at your house and will be taking care of your dog (so I don’t have to go up disgustingly early in the morning). Just so you know I would have done it if she wasn’t staying there :) PROMISE!!!! Wow this is a really strange post, so I am saying good night now....

OH and where is the picture Blogger?!!!! Having probs posting pics again!!!!
...about my LO for week #110 over at CCG. I took this picture (and lots more) while me and parts of my family where having a quick lunch while shopping for x-mas gifts. I am not really satisfied with this LO, there is something missing and I wasn’t sure what to journal so I will add it on later. Will try to add further embellishments and see if that will make it right. After it is done I will take another picture and post it. It will be something about that day, what and where we ate. But one thing is sure it was a good day and we had fun! Love them all! :)

...about love or should I say about me looking like a sourpuss? :) This is my LO for week #109 over at CCG. The picture of me just makes me laugh....I look like the worlds biggest sourpuss. I have used this picture before but I wanted to use it again on this one and put a new meaning to it (IYKWIM). The answer to the question is; yes he is and yes he will be my valentine. We are making plans for the weekend just as I type (hello I’m a woman and I can multitask). Sometimes I wonder how he can stand all my “temper tantrums” (in my defence I am not the only one that has a temper:)) LOL! I guess it is some of my charm (?) Anyhooooo I wanted to make a LOVE LO with this weeks combo since it was so much pink and the Feb 14th is coming up :)

On the way home from mum’s house I came to think about the lyrics of this song "I am Weary (Let Me Rest)" by The Cox Family. The lyrics goes; “Throw your loving arms around me, I am weary let me rest” I think this picture of me, it really describes the feeling and my mood this day.

...about how it isn't all just happy happy joy joy in Lillsissland. I said I would blog today but man ohhhhhh man I’m tired!!! Today was filled with so much work, ideas and emotions and other crap, so now I will have to go to sleep. It has been one of those days that you wished never happened, one of those really incredibly bad days, that are bad with no particular reason(?).

Just a quick note; I have the best mother ever!!! I called her and we talked about “nothing” but I think she heard in my voice that I needed my mum. She said - come on over and have dinner tonight. I said that I would come, but that it had to be later, that I had some stuff to finish working on first. She said that it was ok and I could come home when ever I was done. My aunt Gloria was there as well, and they had already eaten when I got there (since I couldn’t make it in time for dinner). As soon as I came HOME my mum started to fix my dinner, so that I could get a fresh steak. No leftovers for me:). THANK YOU MUM, I SO NEEDED YOUR LOVE AND CONCERN TODAY!!!

...about how I don’t know why I stopped blogging. I just did. I didn’t intent to but all of a sudden I just stopped writing about my life. Those lazy days are gone and now I will start again. I think I will have to make a new header, quite tired of this one. It is cute but I have seen it...
And maybe I should post some of my POTD 365 project pics. Yester day I watched the inauguration of Obama on CNN. Wow I got emotional about it. For me it is really a big thing in all kinds of way. Wow!!! What else.....

The other day I thought Bob aka Mr Moustache how to screen-print a t-shirt the easy way. He had this design that he really wanted on a t-shirt. We first talked about that I should do it for him, but then I thought why not teach him how to do it him self. He was really happy with the result and I must say that he did a great job! He made two one bluish with a red print and one black with a gold print. I didn’t put the story behind the picture in the journaling but I will, as soon as I figure out how I want the journaling to be placed and look on the LO. So this LO is what I must call “a work in progress” one :)

...about my LO for week #103 over at CCG, it is a picture from our cookie party aka “cookiecakesicescreamcandygaloreohrama .
Don’t know why, but I went all digi on this one. I used Scrapblog, witch is quite fun and super easy to use (except today when I had a real big (insert really bad word) problem while trying to publish it on-line). Scrapblog really comes in handy when I get one of my digicravings :) (is that a word?).

Anyhoooo this is the fab 4 captured on the yearly x-mas cookie party. The name of the party says it all. It is all about cookies, cakes, ice scream and all kinds of sweet stuff. The funny thing is that none of the kids are as “cookie crazy” as us grownups so after a while they start asking for fruits. Yes we have fruit on the cookie party but only because the fab 4 are to young to understand the full fabulousness of the totally unhealthy and yet so lovely “cookiecakesicescreamcandygaloreohrama”. But one day they to will see the light........but in the meanwhile we give them fruit if the ask for it.

...about our magical little boy DJ he is such a joy, and a really funny little man. He reminds me so much of my dad. Sometimes when I look at him, at his eyes it almost makes me laugh since they are so much alike :)
It must be the sense of humour that comes from deep within and the feeling of joy they spread without even saying a word. What a gift to have, and what a gift for all of us to get :) I am so lucky and blessed to have had and have the “old man” and “little man” in my life. Here is my LO for week #98 over at CCG. I used a picture of myself holding my ab fave Starbucks cup, I just love it!!! Thank you Bigsiss (I know bigsis:)). She gave it to me as a B-day pressie. The reason I used this picture is that I took this summer is because it fitted perfectly as an illustration for the theme of the LO I wanted to make. As soon as I got the combo from Janet/CCG I just knew I wanted to make an LO to honour one of my greatest “discoveries” and “loves” of life......COFFEE!!! I went all crazy with a brown stamp pad to make my cardstock the right shade of brown. And I used a Starbucks paper bag as the mane pp and photo mat. And the “energy” inspiration is from this weeks OLW:)

BTW
I had my very first cup of coffee when I was four years old. It was mandatory at my grandmothers house that one had coffee and toast for breakfast. There was no discussion about it. It was just the way it was. As a young child one was aloud to have milk/cream and sugar in the coffee. But she didn’t really like that we did it in that way, or as she used to put it ”yes of course you can have milk/cream and sugar in your coffee.......If you want to ruin it”.

PLS NOTE; this was back in the day, ages ago and when I was a young girl and coffee wasn’t as bad for you as it is nowadays :). And she was a fantastic grandmother!

...about how............Eeeeeekkkkkk!!!! I am so tierd today but I have to post this. Hope my text makes sense :) Here is my LO for week #97 over at Color Combos Galore. Journaling reads; I sat patiently in my pj’s with the camera in my hand like a paparazzi and waited. I wanted to take a picture of you when you came back home, after going out in the cold in the middle of the night just to buy us ice cream. You took on this great task all by yourself simply because I had a deadline and was working late and needed some encouragement, and for the most important reason of them all “ we where just dying for some old fashion vanilla flavour ice cream to go with the leftover apple pie that we made the day before”. The LO was supposed to be a two pic one. But the picture of Bob aka Mr Moustache was a bit dark in the colours, it didn’t go with this weeks combo so I decided to only use the picture of the apple pie and ice cream on it instead :) Have a great week!!! ...about how this is my Lo for week#96 over at Color Combos Galore. The combo this week was really difficult and a real challenge for me, not all of the colours and I get along. The combination of green and purple is not my cup of tea and to be honest purple and I don’t get along at all. We are not friends at all. But when we meet up among friends like green, white and (one of my all times fave) grey we get along quite nicely. So I am pleased that I took on the challenge and used as much purple as possible and did my best even if I had some problems with the “gang” at first........as my mum always say “just try your best and see what happens, you might surprise your self” So I did, really who wants to argue with a mum:)

...about us being crazy in love.....or are we just a crazy looking couple in love.....or a crazy couple in love(?).
The pictures of me and Bob aka Mr Moustache where taken by my lillsiss (I know, lilsis) while we where having dinner at mums house a while back. My lillsiss (I know, lilsis)took a lot of pictures of us and after every single click she said – let me just take one more....you both look a bit crazy in this one....
Then she showed us and was all like –whatyathink,amIright,crazylooking,yathink,crazyright? (she talks a bit to fast at times).

Anyhooooo I just loved this weeks combo (once again)!!! I wanted to use B/W pics and I decided to use the grey as my primary colour and use the sienna, chartreuse and straw for the embellishments and parts of the title. I used dark brow stickers for the “LOVE” in the title even if that colour isn’t in this weeks combo, I was all out of big grey stickers and I wanted to have the word prominent on the LO:) I tried to keep the design of the layout simple, with no visible journaling or doodling. I wanted to let the pictures do the talking. Hope it worked:) You can often spot crazy miles away, What am I on about......I am rambling.....once again......like I am “CRAZY in LOVE”:)

...about how I wasn’t sure if I (once again) should post this or not. I was playing around with my camera and taking self-portrait for a project I am working on. And even though this is a self-portrait, the eyes really shocked me. I don’t see it when I look in the mirror, and now I wonder is this how I look when I am not aware of that someone is looking at me. I used a self-timer and the camera was just clicking away and for a split second I dropped my guard and concentration and my thoughts drifted away, away to places that I don’t usually let my self drift. Places where I often end up at night in my deepest sleep. The places where I revisit the “place”, the “waiting room”. Even though I know that they are all at peace and free now, and that that is the only way I should picture them. I do that and it is a good feeling but if I am not really careful my mind will drift to the place that frightens and haunts me the most...to the things I’ve seen and the moments I have shared with loved ones in a place that I call “The waiting room of death”.
While going thru all the pictures I took I found this one, and in my eyes I could see the things I’ve seen.

...about how I know I look totally insane in the pictures on this layout! What can I say to my defence more than I had a “crazy woman on a bad hair and too little sleep day” day!!! I wasn’t sure at first if I should post this LO with these pics or not since I totally look like a nutcase in all of them. But I refuse to let my vanity get the best of me......maybe this is a bad idea and I will regret this for ever, ever and evah.
Anyhoooo this is my layout for week #94 over at Color Combos Galore. I received my weekly colour combo e-mail from Janet and once again with a really hard combo to scrap. I love getting the CCG e-mail every week and you know I really love a challenge. At first this combo was a bit of an “Easter combo” to me. Think it is the green and yellowish thingy that makes it such an “Easter combo”. Colours are funny in that way, how different combinations automatically make you think of certain things. I like how this combo turned out on my LO and mostly because of the pop that the coal and the titanium white made in combo with the electric lime and goldenrod.

I did brush my hair before I went out of the comfort(zone) of my home:)

Ohhh crappy pictures taken on a crappy day....well isn’t that pleasant....

...about how some days aren’t meant to be spent in the company of others! I thank them for trying... really do...
I instead of getting up today should have pulled the duvet over my head and gotten right back to sleep! What a crappy day! Not even Bob aka Mr Moustache, my mum, Jean or Miss H could cheer me up.
The only good thing with being in a bad mode is that it makes me work twice as hard :). So I got a lot done today and that is good. Then when the evening finally came I was so insanely bored with being in a bad mode I foolishly thought that doing the dishes would give me some well needed “enjoyment”. While doing the dishes I listened to my old confidant Nina Simone. I had it on so loud that it made all the other “noises” disappear. Happy, happy joy, joy sometimes I really love that the walls around me are as thick as the walls off a fortress (did I made any sense in that sentence? I think not).
When one of my (many) fave songs came on, I just left the sink and started scraping the lyrics of it. I really love that song.....”Let it be me” could she be more brilliant(?).
Anyhoooo I have this old deck of cards that I got from an “old friend” once. That old deck means a lot to me silly enough. I have it laying on my desk and when I get that “old feeling” of needing to scrap something small, but that feels really important. I pick a card that hopefully and in some way will describe what I am feeling and thinking of at the moment. I left some of the original pattern showing on the back of the card. Don’t really know why but I think it is because I don’t ever want to forget where the card came from (any sense here? Ahhhh it sounded great in my head and I actually do understand what I mean....I think).

I woke up in an extremely bad mode, and I will go to sleep in an even worse one........”Tomorrow is another day” and I will hopefully do the rest of the dishes (it is only a few coffee cups mum!) filled with happiness and joy.........happy, happy joy, joy!!!

...about my LO for week #93 at Color Combos Galore. The pic is from late this summer when Ed, my lillsiss (I know, I know lilsis) and I had one of our lunches. The kind of lunch that is not planed, but the kind you have when you just don’t feel like being bothered with all the hassle of making it on your own. And yes Ed always makes funny faces and pretends that she is sick and tired of us taking pictures of her.......and the she asks if she can see them :) When I first got the #93 combo I was not really sure about how I was going to use it on my LO. This combo was a fun and some what hard one to work with. I guess that I at first was a little bit “frightened” by the orange and deep orchid combo, it made me think of Halloween and I didn’t want to make a Halloween LO. I new what pictures I wanted to scrap and tried a lot of different pp’s and coloured cardstock. So I challenged my self by making a summer LO with the more Halloween(ish) combo. I gave myself a breake and used white cardstock. :)
I think I like how it turned out.

Just realised that I am out of candy, no candy in the house is never a good thing so I have to go shopping for some, right now at once. So no more blogging but that isn’t really a great loss since my post isn’t making much sense anyhoooo.

And oh I went to the gym today haven’t mentioned that in a while. I go twice a week and I still believe that my personal trainer is trying to kill me. After the training I met up with miss H for some latte and ice cream. Just to make sure that the trainer hadn’t totally brainwashed me with all her “crazy” nonsense ramblings about health and stuff.

...about how "little I did know" when I made this LO for week#91. I had the intent to blogg something in the line of how I tend to think way to much. Well, well this post doesn’t make much sense, they hardly ever do ....I just wish that my mind was totally blank at the moment....

It all makes me think of Oprah and her “live your best life”. Don’t really know what she mean when she says that but I do know this, this is not it.....I am in a bad mood, a really, really bad mood!

...about my LO for week #89 over at Color Combos Galore. I made it the other day about how I sometimes don’t really get the world and what is happening in the world around me. I was going to post a long post about my thoughts regarding that subject. Then I read in the SIStv newsletter about the passing away of Aleida (known as ricanlaw in the scrap community) this passed Friday. I didn’t know her in person, but she was one of first persons that posted comments on my LO’s when I stared posting my work on-line. She was one of those girls that really made me feel welcome on the boards and that made me feel brave enough to keep posting my work. Her sweet and encouraging comments are something I took and always will take with me.

So today my thoughts are with her husband Brandon, her children Bella and Joshua, her family and friends.

...about how one can go From BFF 2 BF.

Seriously how and when did this really happen?

*A little warning before you read; this is the ramblings from a fool in love. You read it at your own risk. It might bore you to death or you might just think it is a lot of text about really nothing at all ...

Anyhow I haven’t felt like posting any of my “lovie-dovie” LO’s before, but felt like I just had to post this one since it and he is sooooo CUTE!!! (And since it is my DT LO for week #88 at Color Combos Galore) :)

To make a long story short about my random thoughts today; me and Bob met when we where “just about out of our diapers” and we almost instantly became BFF. So I guess you can say we grew up together. Then when we “left home” we shared a really big house (with a lovely garden) with four other friends. We lived in the house (with the lovely garden) for quite some time. After “quite some time“ had passed I moved to an apartment of my own (my very first one). We kept on seeing each other as friends and being total BFF’s even after I moved out from the house (with the lovely garden). Then after even more “quite some time“ had passed we started to drift apart for no real or apparent reason at all, it was just one of those things that happen sometimes. Then when we finally met again after a lot of “quite some time“ had passed it was like no time had passed at all. We just picked up the friendship where we had left it. Okay the only thing that was different with the friendship now was that everyone else around us could see that it was changing and developing into something else, but not the two of us we where totally blind and like –ehhh we are just old friends...really good friends...BFF’s, have been for years...

Yeaaaaah right!!! Looking back at it, it is so obvious that this friendship was the beginning of a crush that started about twenty years ago. But it was just something we never talked about (then, way back when) :)

Why did I tell this story (again)? Don’t know? And especially since most of you already heard it to death :) But if someone doesn’t know and have been out of contact with the outside world and been on.....let’s say the moon they might possibly have missed it. I just wanted to be nice and tell them about it so they won’t be sad or feel left out (and I probably will tell it again, again and again since I like talking about it). And did I mention that he now has told me (after all of these years) that he had a crush on me way back when....BIG TIME!!! Makes me week in the knees and all giggly just thinking about it:))

Anyhooooo I love the song “My idea of heaven” and it always makes me think of ....Bob (FYI it is not his real name, I just think the moustache makes him look like a Bob, and since he doesn’t like it or answer when I call him Magnum, I must call him Bob, LOL! Gotta love a man with a moustache!!!) Holy cannelloni I am really being a girlygirl now...

BTW he is still one of my BFF ;)

...about my LO for week #87 at Color Combos Galore. I used pictures from a "few" days ago of Alli and Ed making art at the kitchen table :). I just love these pictures! They look so happy and proud of what they are making. I was super impressed of how incredibly serious and extremely concentrated they where while working on the “ART”. Ed made a “dude with hair” and Alli made the roses on the pictures (can you believe it?) I showed her how to make them and she snapped up the technique at once and just kept on making them. And she made the perfectly I must ad.

...about my family and the DT LO I made for week #85 over at; Color Combos Galore. On this LO I used pictures taken two weeks ago at my mums house. Not all of the “family “ is in the picture:) It is not easy to get us all to be at one place at the same time. And getting us to be in the same city or country or even better yet on the same continent, can and is a really big deal. Something I found funny and that made me happy about this LO and the pictures I used on it is that I didn’t see at first that my dad was in one of the pictures :) in the picture on the top right hanging behind my bigsiss and miss H is the portrait that I painted of my dad for his funeral.

...about how it might have made me sick just by looking at it. But that didn’t stop me from eating it since I knew it was going to be ooooooohhhh soooooo goooood!!!! And it was! :)

Recipe of the day; is it a sandwich or a cardiac arrest waiting to happen, you be the judge :)

Ciabatta (the bread has to be white! Rye or any kinds of fib-health crap could kill you. Trust me on this matter).
Butter (in large amounts, slightly melted so that it really goes into every “nook” of the bread).
English orange breakfast marmalade (bitter and yes oh so sweet, and not in a cute way).
Cheddar cheese (pre-sliced and ready for sandwiches in an instant, no time wasted. Me likie).
Smoked ham (make sure the slices of ham are incredibly thin and salty, I added some extra salt on mine just for the heck of it).

Served with a steaming cup of hot coffee and topped off with a chocolate bar for dessert. That’s all the ingredients required to make the start of your day a happy one:)

“D happy” that means that Dj is happy and that he had a really good birthday:) Yesterday was Dj’s 2nd birthday. We woke him up with breakfast in bed, his favourite “berry” strawberries with vanilla/custard cream. He was so into the “berry” that he almost forgot to open his presents. The common theme in all the gifts that we all gave Dj was that they all had something motor related in/on it. In the afternoon there was a small family B-day party. We had a really good time and then for dinner my bigsiss and lillsiss and co had pizza for dinner. Me and the kids really enjoyed the cuisine of the day:)

Will come back and write more and post more pictures:)

...about that my name is Lillsisslill and I am a bad bloger!!! I haven’t blogged about my “random thoughts” since Friday, July 4, 2008. I have blogged two layouts and an update and that is about it.....I will do better....I must do better......I am better tan that.....or am I?

On another note mum is back in the city and we went out for some shopping and dinning....did I remember to bring my camera(?)....erm no! Is this being a better bloger....erm NO!!!

Here is my LO for this weeks Color Combos Galore #80. This is a LO about my mum and Ed. My mum escapes the city the first sunny day in early spring. So I hardly see my mum all summer....she is almost all the time at her “summer hideout” and only comes back to the city from time to time to see us or make errands. The kids all love to go there and spend time with their grandma. Love that they are discovering all the magic places on the island that me and my siblings thought we where the first to ever discover:)

Have to start working on my next OLW LO the word this week is "IF".

The journaling/title work is a bit strange. I just wanted to put down the thoughts

that I had about that sometimes when we know each other for such a long time

that we don’t always see the changes that happens in our personalities, we often

keep on seeing things that where but are no longer there. it can sometimes be a

good thing and sometimes not be a good thing IYKWIM. Where am I going with

this line of thoughts.....I don’t really know. I wanted to illustrate it but I didn’t

really know how to get all of that down on the LO. Think I will keep on working

on this idea and on this theme.

...about friendship and keeping in contact. I have this friend that I haven’t had contact with for a while. We have known each other for about 20 years(no it is not Jean:)). Don’t really know why we lost contact but we did. Nothing really happened but it was just one of those; You want to call but don’t have time right then. So you plan to make that call later that evening. Then you think that you will call the person tomorrow, and then tomorrow becomes the day after tomorrow and it goes on and on. Then all of a sudden quite some time has passed since you last saw each other or talked. Then after a while you think that you would have so much to talk about when you finally make that call and that the conversation would probably be very long since you have to run through all that has happened during that time that you haven’t had any contact. And then you can’t find the time or should I say you don’t take the time to make that call and then after a while you forget that you even where supposed to make that call...

We are now back on track. It is actually really fun to hear and share all about what has happened in this “while we lost contact” time. But the thing I like the most with things like this and when stuff like this happens is that when it is a real friendship it doesn’t matter that time has passed, you just pick up the friendship where you “left it”. No hard or hurt feelings and absolutely no drama.

Anyhoooo I wanted to make a layout about all of this but didn’t really know how. So I made a layout about a chat we had the other day.

I had dinner with the ladies from The View instead.

...about how yesterday I and my BFF Jean aka Jea where supposed to go out for dinner. But none of us really felt like going out for dinner. So we both decided that we should instead be “good girls” and clean our home workspaces. We had phone contact and gave each other great speeches of encouragement. The only thing is that she always started her calls with
– back away from the computer and get your lazy bum of the chair and start cleaning.
How she knew I will never know!!!

Anyhooooo
I am a “good girl” and I took the task to heart with great seriousness and I really did my best. I really did, scouts honour (making finger sign as I type). Oh it looks so nice and tidy. It is all so clean and super organized. Jean would be proud of me.....

Or is it so that I am just being a big fat lazy liar....? I really had the intent to clean and organize but I was so hungry I had to go and buy some food (didn’t cook it myself since that would make an additional mess). I got very sleepy from eating all that food, so after the food intake I had to eat some (crazy amount of) candy to get the energy level back on top. But that brilliant idea backfired and I tried to self medicate with a drink some call soda. Then I did what Dr Mcoldie would have said to me at a time like this “You must rest when and if you feel fatigue”. So then I had to lie down and meditated on the sofa and for a minute. You just don’t go against Dr’s orders. I reached a place of total calmness and the resting aura (if there is such a word) around me was so deep it almost felt like I was sleeping....

Oh and yes I punched a lot of flowers after my meditation:) So I was not a total lazy little girl.

Oh well I will end this post with a quote from my dear friend Scarlett ”Tomorrow is another day” since today is a day of rest...

The Eagle has landed...

Or should I say the “angle puppy” has landed!!! For those that remember a while back my mum and her puppy was attacked by a pitbull earlier this spring. My mum “just today” got her new puppy!!! We are all so happy! This is all such a weird and wonderful end to the story.

I don’t think I shared this before but one of the reasons that Poppe was so important to us was that my mum got our sweet puppy Poppe because the house felt so empty after my dad died, he filed a tiny piece of that great void that dads death had left in all of us. Not that mum is lonely or alone, but she has always had someone to care for and to take care of. All the children had left the “house” (I am home several times a week, I know cut the umbilical cord but I don’t want to:) and my dad was no longer there (think he is still there but not in person:)). So the everyday life in the house felt empty. So when she got the puppy she became happier than she had been for a long time, they where such a great par mum and Poppe and they took really nice long walks everyday that my mum loves to do.
At first my mum didn’t want a new puppy after Poppe died. When we finally convinced her that it would be good for her. She said that she would only get one on the condition that it was from the same breeder. My bigsister Andy talked to the breeder and found out that the wait for a new puppy would be almost a year. But she at least wanted a new one and that was god news.

Okay this is the end of the story:)
Two weeks ago the breeder called my mums cell phone and asked her if she could consider taking a “transfer dog” and that this dog was Poppes brother from the same litter :). In the family that had him the father had become ill from heart disease (same problem as my dad) and was going in and out of hospital all the time. The felt they couldn’t give the dog the family he needed and deserved. They wanted him to have a good life so they contacted the breeder who called my mum at once. And today he came home...

You know what the say sometimes the...

On a sadder note:
The “woman” that owns the other dog is behaving like a total *insert a bad word* and is not responding to any contact, the matter is in the hands of my mum’s lawyer and thankfully the law is on mum’s side and the “woman” has to pay for the damages and the veterinarian bill. Think it made her “upset” that my mum contacted the police and they charged her and her dog (or what you call it). The thing is that the longer she waits with paying the veterinarian bill the higher her bill will be in the end, and it is incredibly high already. The thing that really irritates me is that this will only keep on being painful and disturbing for my mum. That she has to keep on living with this nightmare in her life and to have contact with her lawyer regarding this whole matter. We just want to leave it behind us and just remember the good memories we have of Poppe.
Btw the dog is till alive and has attacked another woman and her two terriers:( thankfully they made it without any severe injuries. And yes this woman has also reported it to the police it will be interesting and scary to see what haves to happen before the police take the dog away and put it to sleep. All I can say about the woman is how can you live with yourself and on top of all of this have small kids in the house you *****insert a really bad word*****

Why Hello lovah you ask (or maybe not)
You know I love my coffee, but in some of the pics I took this morning of myself drinking the “love of my life” it looked like I was making out with the cup.....telling you my friends not a good thing and definitely not something you want stuck in your mind all day.....but I am telling you it was extremely hot (made a really bad Starbucks coffee joke).

Anyhooooo did I mention that it was my birthday yesterday? I had the best time EVER!!!
I really want to thank you all for making it as perfect as it was. Nothing but love for ya!!!
And apparently or should I say it has recently been brought to my attention that you guys love me toooooo, and a whole lot more than I sometimes realize and give you credit for...
Note To Self; Mushy feelings overload, stop it, and stop it now. You making a fool of your self woman!!!

Where was I? Oh yes I was at THANK YOU. So thank you for making it a great day and thank you all for the calls, mail, e-mail, pm’s, MB posts and text messages...made me happy, me likie the attention I got on my b-day:)

What more has happened in Lillsissland?
I have been published (for all scrapbookers it is not scrap related:)) in two papers. Or I should say my work....no my art has been (Yay me!!!). It is a big exhibition with showings of pieces by twenty artists. I am really happy to be part of this exhibition on so many levels.The opening of the show is today and I hope it goes well. Just a shame I can’t go. Dam long travelling distances and lack of time. But I know Miss A will represent...YOU GO GIRL!!! (oh how I love being all cheerleader type of gal on my blog:). I am really happy with my paintings. Who thought that I would pick up painting again? Thanks “Old man” (“Old man” is my dad, I always called him that since he was older than me...that really sound like I am a bit slow but you know what I mean) it took me a while but I did it. Maybe I should explain. I was working on a painting 061211 and on that day I found out that my dad was going to die. I just stopped in the middle of it. I only painted two things after his death one in black and white about my sorrow a few days after. And the other one was a portrait of my dad. I made it on his request that we had it instead of a picture of him at his funeral.

...about how today is my birthday. And about what a year it has been (since my last birthday:). It’s been really good, it’s been really bad....but it was the first year in my life of doing exactly what the heck I wanted!!! Did I mention that it’s my birthday? Anyhow I loved it! Not all of it, but to be really honest I loved most of it.

It was also my first whole year without a father. Just wish he was here seeing that I did take his advice, and did exactly what I wanted with my life. Or “Old man” I should say I am getting there. You would have been proud of me....I didn’t give up and I kept true to myself. I must admit I did some things you probably wouldn’t approve of ....but I am just in the beginning of my journey you see. So it nor I is completely perfect yet:) and I know you would say -it’s okay “Little” .
Did I mention that it’s my birthday? Today I am going to have a small party at my bigsiss house (since it happens to be my birthday). Did I or did I not mention that it is my birthday today? Anyhow it’s going to be a really small party since I don’t really like having b-day parties. I didn’t have any as a kid (or maybe one or two) mostly because I like to have my b-day cake in peace and quiet and eat as much as I like. Love going to other peoples parties and having their b-day cake though...is that a bad thing?
I really love having a birthday, don’t know why and I don’t care if I get any gifts...or maybe I would be upset if I didn’t get any: I don’t know. But I do know I am the easiest person to give a b-day gift to (this I have been told gazillion times so it must be true). It doesn’t matter what it is I always get all teary eyed and thankful. I better stop writing I am starting to ramble...

Just realized I don’t have to blog about the year past since it is all here anyway....or maybe not all of it, the rest is in my “Top secret mini albums” and I wasn’t much of a blogger in the beginning. And most of you reading talk to me on a daily basis anyway.
I am not saying that I am super fab blogger now but I do post more...

I just felt like making you a card today. I totally respect your wishes to not celebrate your B-day....I just wanted to make this card because I love you and wanted to tell you that. And if I by chance posted this on “the day with a name we will not mention, nor celebrate” I am terribly sorry.

It is so much easier to think of the faults that I have or all the faults I think I have. But if truth be told what I really love about myself is that I am not afraid to go my own way and speak my mind. This is nothing that I can thank myself for it is all thanks to my family. I was brought up and surrounded by people that gave me the feeling and the conviction that there is nothing I can not do if I set my mind to it and stay true to my self. I am not perfect, far from it. But I am not afraid to go my own way and speak my mind. These are strengths I value and love about myself. It is a big part of my personality and has made me who I am. So my answer must be I love me for me. I used things from the SIStv goodie bag on this one. It is a hybrid LO.

Normally we Skype every day so we just tried to Skype each other sitting opposite at the kitchen table:) Didn’t work so well but it was fun....LOL!!!

Random Challenge #2
My fave shoes. They are probably one of the cheapest pair I have. I bought them in the subway market in Taipei/Taiwan. And I love them!!! My sister says that my feet looks like they are from a dead person. And they do in this pic and in real life:) The colour is 7 shades lighter than my hands and face:)
