Me like coffee…

This is what I have done today, a two page LO of me and Mie at Starbucks.

Oh! I worked as well so it’s not just fun at this place.
I called my sister Andy today and congratulated her on her new puppy. Her Chihuahua Alma had a puppy, only one. After that I chatted with Keekee she is visiting my big siss on the other side of the world (love writing that), she was so jetlag it was like talking to a drunk goldfish.

I babysat Alli and Ed today and this is what happened.

Instead of ironing I scraped, so the clothes were just in a big messy pile on the washing machine.

Alli came out from the bathroom and asked me
-Why is the bathroom such a mess?

lMe -I haven’t have time to sort it yet.

She looked at me with her head tilted and smiled and said.
-it won’t take long if you do it at once, just put everything in its right place.

Me – you’re right

I didn’t really know what to respond to that, she was so right.
It felt like the movie Freakyfriday.

I got me an e-mail today from Jean and she listed all the words that where misspelled on the blog, boy was my face red!

I spent the workday in front of the computer. And then I realised that I hade to rush to the bank. I almost didn’t make it. I needed to clear my head after the bank so I took a long walk in the sunshine and had a Popsicle. My mum invited me, my lillsiss and family for dinner.
It’s really nice when mums home, not only for the food. But I must admit that she’s a great cook and I love her cooking.

Sounds way kinkier than it is.
Chatted with Mie and Bigsiss in the morning. And then I took a few hours of from work in the afternoon to meet my friend Delly, we hade coffee at one of my favourite places where they have the mother of all cinnamon rolls. We later meet up with U for some shopping, I bought two small Abena striped Marimekko bags, a red one for my self and brown one for me? I also bought one thingamajig that I will put in my present pile.

You never know I may get it for my birthday. They really know how to shop U and Delly.

My mum is finally coming back to night from her holiday in Africa. I’m going to pick her up at the airport with my lillsill, the only thing that scares me is that the “baby” is driving and it will be way past her bedtime. Love ya sleepy head.

Back to the smurfs I got me some! OK they where a gift from Delly for my toy collection, but I think it sounds funnier when I say it like that. Thanx a lot sweet little Delly.

The meeting with the designer went well. She nowadays live in the countryside but we hade the meeting at her city overnight apartment. We sat in the arty kitchen of her lovely apartment. OMG this place is so great, it looks like its strait out of a spread in an interior design magazine. She was very pleased with the result of the pattern that I have been working on for her. I haven’t felt so liberated and happy with my self in ages. She gave me some more work that has to be finished on Tuesday at the latest, that’s ok by me.

After the meeting I was on an excellent mood. Called my lillsiss and we made up plans to meet up after work. Then I called her husband and he was on his way to pick up the kids,
we decided that I should meet him at Alli and Ed’s kindergarten.

Then we went to a restaurant and had burgers for dinner. After the dinner we stopped at a playground to play and then Ed took a few steeps. Way to go Ed! We walk to their apartment in the lovely evening sun.

Today I went totally crazy from cabin fever and working to hard. So I gave my self the permission to turn of the computer and take a long walk around the beautiful rainy city. It was great I felt totally free for the first time in ages.

4 of my LO’s has been published on a Swedish scrapbooking web sight. I’m a newbie when it comes to scrapbooking and enjoy it a lot. It’s the first time I took part in a challenge and it worked out great….wow….ouch…..my….head…..is….swelling.

By the way I haven’t finished the textile print pattern yet and it’s still driving me insane, it’s probably one of the hardest designs I’ve ever come across. Sweet mama help me so that it gets done by little computer designer trolls to night.

Alli has been really ill, and that worried the hell out of me. She is now slowly getting better. We where all really worried. Poor baby she took the whole thing incredibly well and even smiled and joked. I just hade to make a LO about her.

Been working all day with a textile print design that’s driving me insane!!!
I’m doing a textile print for another designer, and she is really renowned. She made a basic draft and then I design and complete it. So I guess you could say I’m a ghost designer. It’s a lot of work that has to be done on it before I even can start repeating it. I’m supposed to give the design and some colour ways to designer next week.

Pray for me! I really need it.

One of those days

That’s my day and that isn’t bad, frankly I think it pretty darn great.
I babysat my two nieces today and they have the flu so we stayed in bed and watched the telly all day. We woke up at lunch time and had pancakes, since the where ill and couldn’t go outside we had an indoor pick nick on the living room floor, and then we fell asleep again.

Oh dear Me!
I almost forgot that Biggsiss had a party today on the other side of the world.
I attended the party via the web, despite the fact that they didn’t send me a written invitation. I think it’s quite bad-mannered of them not to let me decide for my self if I would like to attend the party or not. I really hope this will not occur again or I’ll have to tell Mummy, and she would probably be very disappointed with how you handled the whole situation.

We hade a really nice time yester day me, my lillsiss and mum, we had Italian, the food was excellent! I’ve bin working all day, but got stuck on a detail and needed a change of scenery. I went out for a coffee and bought some new cartridges for my printer. When I sat in the coffeehouse I got some new ideas…and they where brilliant if I may say so my self, haven’t tested them on anyone else yet, but I’m going to run them by Bigsiss tomorrow and see if she agrees with me. Tonight is my movie/telly night and it’s about time to get into my pj and crawl to the sofa.

Bad day

Ben working all day and nothing special happened, except the design I’m working on at the moment is driving me insane. I’m in a bad mood and I’m having dinner with my lillsiss and mama after work. That will hopefully make my day… I’m not being sarcastic even tough I looks like it.

Golly Gee I wish the dishes would do them selves!

Instead of doing what I’m supposed too be doing, I’m eating cupcakes, having coffee and reading the Sunday papers. The plan I designed for this lovely sunny Sunday was to plant some seeds on my balcony, carrots, basil, radish, parsley and potatoes. Think I have to take a siesta before I do anything else today, just so you know its hard work eating cupcakes.

I’m going to eat a lot of candy today. The Easter bunny knew that I wasn’t up for an egg hunt, since I have been ill. So the candy was left at my doorstep. Wasn’t that nice and considerate of the bunny?

If truth be told I’m very sick today!

I really needed to sleep but I had a very important meeting today that I couldn’t cancel. So I took a deep breath and pulled my self together. The meeting went well although I felt like crap the whole time. I decide that the hard work earned me a little bit of shopping…so that I would feel better, it didn’t work but it could have…What do I know I’m not a doctor!!!

My absolutely favourite chatting pal is my niece Mie, she is only four. The little darling speaks two Languages and is now learning Chinese, wish I could say that she takes after me. But I have to give cred where cred is do. So here is a shout out to Bella and Marw! Mie is an excellent speller with a great sense of humour.
She lives on the other side of the world in another time zone. I have to get up very early to have a chat with her, it’s so worth it!!! We only meet in RL a few times a year. I miss Mie every day so this makes it a little bit easier. Mie and I have a lot of common interests in life like Hello Kitty, Baby Milo, Peko, Bearbrick and all other kind of stuff that’s pink.

On another subject: Todays lunch

This is my lunch today, it’s take away cannelloni with chicken. It looks like its take away from the seventies. But it was delicious…yummy…yummy…..I now have a happy………tummy!

Happy birthday Dad and Ed

I’m writing this because they say that the internet sends radio waves trough the sky.

Today is a day of joy and much, much sorrow. Exactly one year ago

we were all so happy and unaware off that Ed’s first birthday would

be your first birthday spent in heaven. Ed was born on my fader’s

birthday last year. Dad, Ed and big sister Ally had a special connection

and became very close. They truly loved him and he loved them.

He became unwell and had to be rush in to hospital, where he stayed

for his last two months. Even though he knew that it was too late to

fight it, and the illness was wining the battle, Ed and Ally always

made him smile and feel a little bit better for a while.

They now know that their grandfather has become a bright

star in the sky and that you will always be watching over us.

I miss you gamla gubbe and I love you.

Rest in peace and don’t forget to have fun.
Promise you’ll meet me at the door when it’s my time.
